Deen Taj

Solicitor

London

Deen is a solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial team, providing strategic legal advice on corporate transactions and commercial matters. His work includes advising on acquisitions, mergers, and data privacy, offering commercially focused solutions to help clients navigate complex legal landscapes.

He also has experience in competition, regulatory, and procurement matters, including advising on merger control and subsidy control under the Subsidy Control Act 2022. Deen advises clients on running complex procurements, ensuring compliance and structuring processes to minimise risks and achieve optimal outcomes. He also provides guidance on export controls and national security issues under the National Security and Investment Act 2021, helping clients navigate regulatory requirements and secure approvals. His approach is grounded in a deep understanding of the sectors in which clients operate, allowing him to deliver tailored guidance that aligns with their strategic objectives.

As a trainee, Deen spent time on secondment at a global engineering and construction company, working closely with commercial and legal teams on various corporate, construction, and commercial matters.
